This is the ONLY skull model in the world that shows the main muscles of the head. Designed for teaching and fully articulated, this skull, featuring detailed teeth and a jaw, is cast from a selected natural bone skull with all fine anatomical details included. Beyond this, attention was paid to find a real bone skull as a prototype, which allowed us to develop and showcase both anatomical standards and specialties. The muscles are slightly flexible, allowing for the movement of the mandible while chewing, for example. Created for hands-on use, a hinged flap in the right mandible opens to show the nerve canal, bone structure, the roots of teeth and an impacted third molar. The skull is unbreakable during normal use. Individual parts are numbered and matched to the included key and the model is dissectible into four parts. 31 individual teeth, each with full roots, are included. Additionally, the maxillae and mandible may be pulled for individual demonstration.
